Sales / Business Development Manager (US)

Task:

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new applications, customers and distributors.
  • Develop and support effective and industry-oriented marketing strategies.
  • Maintain the qualification status within Clients’ vendor lists.
  • Determine annual sales volume and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Stay updated on the market data, maintain sales prices by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and the corporate marketing department to create strategic marketing plans and achieve KPIs
  • Work with internal engineering / application teams to meet client needs.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on product-oriented applications.
  • Skilled in multitasking and managing various responsibilities on your own.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Positive attitude.

Your profile:

  • A Bachelor degree in a technical major is required. MBA is preferred.
  • Have a good working knowledge about the product and be experienced in the sales of industrial batteries or applications related industrial batteries ( i.e. Industrial UPS chargers, energy storage systems, etc.)
  • Territory: North and South Americas (primary markers US, Canada, Mexico)
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Reporting: Global Sales Director (Germany)
