SIMBA Advisory Board Workshop

On July 20 we took part of the “Sodium ion and sodium metal batteries - SIMBA project” Advisory Board Workshop in TU Darmstadt. The SIMBA project main goal is the development of a highly cost-effective, safe, all-solid-state-battery with sodium as mobile ionic charge carrier for stationary energy storage applications. In this opportunity, GAZ participated actively in two discussion panels about materials development and about cell development. The scientific discussion was focused on the state-of-the art of the project´s findings and on the steps still needed to make SIMBA project results even more promising.
